Dear All,
IN OINP application guide, it is written below:
3. Personal and Work History (Principal Applicant Only) *
Provide the details of your personal and work history since the age of 18, or the past 10 years, whichever is most recent. Start with the most
recent information. Under “Occupation”, write your occupation or job title if you were working. If you were not working, provide information on
what you were doing (for example: unemployed, studying, travelling, retired, etc.). Attach supporting documentation for each employment entry
(reference letters, workbooks, etc.). Please ensure that you do not leave any gaps in time. Use a separate sheet if necessary.
Note: only relevant paid work experience will be assessed.
My questions are:
1. If there is gap of let say 1 week or 2 weeks or 1 month, just to relax a bit before joining new firm, what should one write? Unemployed? or just don't bother to put that time? Actually, I realized today only that I didn't mention those free times
If it's under one month u don't need to inform them as per ircc standards but if it's over 1 month u need to write them a LOE mentioning your employment gap
2. What if someone has visited other countries while being employed, on business visas? Is that too needed to be mentioned in this section?
if it's a part of your work then the passport u submitted already had a visa stamp of different country, only if your stay is more than 6 months u need to be worried but if that's not the case they'll check ur passport stamp and ask u for explaining if required
