December Application OINP

i got reply via email from express entry oinp that my file is in queue to be verified by an officer.

Unlike a cheque, in case of a bank draft, the funds have been moved from your account and is held in bank's foreign currency account (in this case CAD account) waiting to be cleared by the payee on submission of the bank draft at their bank in Canada. So, the bank will definitely know when the funds are cleared. May be the branch people are lazy to find from the Treasury Management Team/Forex Team whether the draft has been encashed or not. If you insist, they will have to give you details regarding the same as your funds are held in bank's account ready to be paid to the payee (Ontario Minister of Finance).

I clearly told in details. My Dd is en cashed on 14th March which was drawn on 14th Dec and my application was reached on 22nd Dec. I asked my bank about the details and they sent a letter to the Bank in ON and they replied the DD is en cashed.

So most of the DD for Dec applicants DD must be en cashed.

Even I got my DD issued via ICICI bank. But unfortunately, I don't have the DD number. Is there a way I can figure out if my DD is encashed? :9

you must have scanned the copies before sending. check those documents and find out DD number. go to bank and inquire.
 
antoman is first Dec applicant and its 120 days of his submission. Hope April brings some activity here.
