December Application OINP

This has been a week of updates...finally got ITA as well yesterday night...

I have got a message to my Mycic account but when entering login name / password the program doesn't log me in, but it transfer to ircc main site. Have somebody noticed such kind of error recently?

My application is in the second stage and I am really stressed to read the message...

I have sent an iquiry to IRCC but I do not expect quick answer...

Could somebody try to login into mycic to check whether it is working or not?

Dont panic. It seems to be your nomination. Keep logging using another browser . I am able to log in from here in India

Hello guys,

First of all congratulations to all who have got nomination and ITA in last draw.

Just 3 questions I have and I hope I will get answers since this is the most active thread as of now.

1) How many days it takes to get receipt of the new DD ?

2) If we receive receipt, does that mean that the file is move with investigator analyst or only after you receive mail from OINP ?

3) In the latest draw of IRCC many people got direct ITA whose score was 475 or more, so do you guys think that it will effect the OINP processing or they will do as they are currently?

1) How many days it takes to get receipt of the new DD ? It varies and you'll probably find better info in the February or March Threads, since they are talking about DDs right now, but it does take a while.

2) If we receive receipt, does that mean that the file is move with investigator analyst or only after you receive mail from OINP ? No, when that happens you MAY receive an email from OINP that you file has moved to assessment phase, but most of us don't receive that confirmation.

This happens sometimes and have faced it quite a number of times. Is a normal behavior of IRCC site.
One of the solutions proposed by others here is to open another instance of the same browser(keeping the first one open) and then log in. Worked 9 on 10 times for me.
And please do not ask for the rationale behind it

According to the AOR you should receive confirmation:

Your application was reviewed to confirm that it is complete and has been forwarded for assessment. OINP will notify you when your application moves to the assessment phase and again when your application moves to the decision phase....
...
We kindly request that you wait until after you receive notification that your application has moved to the assessment phase before contacting the OINP to inquire about the status of your application....

But it seem very few people do. So I guess you're right in assuming that assessment will start a short time after AOR...

Nope, that's not it... BICKO posted an email he received after the AOR over here :

If it was the AOR why would they also state "We kindly request that you wait until after you receive notification that your application has moved to the assessment phase before contacting the OINP..." within the AOR, that statement alone makes it clear that the AOR is not the confirmation that the application has moved to assessment phase.

The point is, since many people don't receive this explicit confirmation as BICKO did, then I think it's fair to assume that shortly after the AOR your application will effectively enter the assessment phase.
