Akmoolah, I would be in total agreement with you as it relates to trending data. I've been there, done that. However with OINP, the trend is 'no trend' at all. With that being said, that does not mean that conclusions are impossible to derive from the 'no trend' that is being witnessed. There are certain conclusions I have come to regarding OINP and they are as follows:akmoolah said:hey guys , since its all silence from OINP i was wondering if we could do some research statistically rather than simply bumping our heads and we can get some stats.
If i recall properly there was a complete Silence of AOR in May before they rushed of and cleared off all AORs in June , July , August and Early September for some.
My query here is can someone analyse a trend from the trackers that, when did the AOR slow Down ? April End - Whole of May ? for how many days was this slowness ( assuming this was the time that OINP was training the temp staff who gave our AORs) ? And when was it resumed.
This could give us some insights and help a lot of already frustrated applicants to delay their wait a little while longer just this time with proper stats.
I nominate bestofluck , MZASAM , Rajkamal , maged_m , cocoly , patnikrishna for this task. what say guys? ;D
1. OINP systems and processes are not sufficient to handle the influx of applications and/or
2. OINP's delay may be the result of variables unknown to us (most likely politics at the Ministerial level)
My first conclusion seems to be somewhat aligned to OINP's update regarding the cessation of OINP NOIs until November 2016. They have also mentioned that they plan to do improvements to streamline processes (I'm just paraphrasing).
My second conclusion was made based on what we don't see coming out from OINP officially (i.e. they cannot provide timelines or any sort of service level agreement to applicants). A Government based organization is usually able to provide certain specific details. Whenever there is refusal to provide or exclude specific details in public fora can sometimes be an indication that they do not know themselves and/or are given instructions to exclude any details that could result in legal infractions and further bad publicity.
