Incorrect. The file number is like this - XHSW-160XXXX
X - Xpress Entry
H - Human Capital Priorities Stream
SW - Skilled Worker
If it were a CEC candidate, it would be XHEC - 160XXXX
EC denotes Canadian Experience Class here.
If the applicant applies under the French Skilled Worker Stream, his Case number will look something like the following depending on whether he is a FSW or CEC Candidate -
OINP has yet to give numbers for Jan to March applications. In Jan there are 1800 applications. So there may be around 2500 applications more for 3 months. The file number may touch 5300 or so. The quota is 5200 for the year.
OINP whan notifying pause ,said that they have3 enough applications for 2016 quota.
XFSW - 160XXXX (FSW applicant)
XFEC - 160XXXX (CEC Applicant)
In the above scenario, F denotes "French Speaking Skilled Worker".
So, we actually do know that if the file number says 1602800 AND it has a XHSW before that, it means that the applicant has received 2800th AOR under the Human Priorities Capital Stream and that he is a FSW applicant.
