14. IP3 11-Jan-18 (What is the meaning of this status change)
Well, it’s pretty self-explanatory up till PPR, but after than I emailed them enquiring about the procedure for adding my newborn, informing that the baby will be delivered mid-February 2018. BTW I shouldn’t done that, because, consequently they emailed me after 4 days saying:
“Thank you for informing our office of your intention to add a dependent child to your application. Please be advised that your COPR has been cancelled and your file has been re-opened for further processing. Please provide the required documents within 30 days after the birth of the child.”
Now I have mailed them again, requesting to not cancel my COPR. But I’m not sure now they will listen or not. Secondly, since I was hoping that I will receive my COPR before 20-01-18, I have also informed than of my plans to fly to Canada and deliver the baby over there, but now I don’t see that happening.
LEASON LEART: Don’t ever mail them, like I did, if you want COPR quickly, you will have plenty of time to ask questions once you receive COPR.
QUESTIONS: What should I do at the moment? And is the meaning of NA3 and IP3?
Just to be clear my background check states: “We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.”
