My background is still in progress but my LPP is complete is this normal? I haven't seen lots of applications with this pattern, pls advice.
No, it is stuck. As in at least some other cases in Mississauga. We just have to wait.
Actually quite a few of late are following this pattern of late. It is one or the other (Either LPP or BG complete) - seems pretty normal. We wake up only when we are summoned.

test to be taken between March 28, 2024 and April 26, 2024.
Now if only some other offices will complete LPP while background check waits. But beggers cannot be choosers.

I'm guessing having your biometrics completed during a previous PR application would be one good reason.
