Husband has no dependents. He is from the US.
We paid for the open work permit right away but never got around to applying for it. I guess there is no point in applying for that anymore???

We received an email to confirm email address and all necessary info so they can send us a Portal invite for virtual landing I suppose. It was from Calgary office.

We received the Pre Arrival letter thru GCKey.

My timeline is very similar, but we didn’t get approval emails, I got sponsor eligibility email and PA eligibility letter but step kids still have to biometrics and backgrounds checks aren’t done yet. We didn’t pay for open work permit but debating if it’s worth it to do now - I’m not sure how long they take as I am reading ecopr can take a few months.

We are also debating as well with regards to the Work Permit as I have also heard the same that ECOPR takes a while.

Submitted Dec 28th, received temporary file number, medical request received and passed, but still no AOR.

I haven't received anything. Not sure why? We submitted application via PR portal. Its worrying us.

May I know what documents were missed? Have you got returned email? or was the status on the PR portal changed to returned?

I was FINALLY able to create a pr tracker account!! But the site isn't working and keeps giving me a loading error. Will try again tomorrow.
