Is necessary to inform ircc if we are travelling ? Because I am too traveling soon... or should I just inform when I get the invite to test ?

Canada will be busy processing Ukrainian applications on priority basis now. Definitely will impact processing timelines.

it's funny because i am from hong kong, and theyre supposed to do my application on a priority basis as well, so far, it has not meant anything. guess i'll wait.

Sure the new portal is pretty neat and to-the-point.

So for people that applied online they can't check their application on ecas and only paper applicants can, correct?

what about the new portal? some ppl say it's better than ECAS!

AOR is nothing , the real thing is AOR to test ,only paper applicants are moving. iF you see only paper applicants have their bg status completed

Unfortunately, that's not true. Priority processing is applicable to:

1. Canadian passport
2. permanent resident travel document (PRTD)
3. visitor visa
4. electronic travel authorization (eTA)
5. work permit, including open work permit for Hong Kong recent graduates
6. study permit
7. family sponsorship

Citizenship applications are not covered.
