How come Dec-2020 tracker only has 46% as IP even when online applicants got AOR & IP? For Jan-2021 applicants 51% are in IP despite fact that very few online applicants got AOR.

Is everyone checking status in ECAS regularly since email is not received for IP Status? Link to directly access ECAS (in case anyone needs it) - https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do?lang=en

Not everyone provides an update for the spreadsheet on time. There are several stale/outdated entries. One person from each month's specific thread should take the responsibility of following up with the names on the tracker. I do that for September 2020 applicants. If they don't provide any response for a long time, I just remove them from the spreadsheet. Incomplete / stale information skews the data in the spreadsheet which is not good.

I've updated the spreadsheet!

Lesson 1: Don't use Canada post, unless you absolutely have to. Use a courier service - Fedex / UPS / Purolator and make sure you request for signature.

How does one check when (the date) the application went into processing. My wife applied in late November 2020, application received by CIC in first week of December 2020. She got her AOR on 18th of February, 2021. I just checked her status. Everything but Test and Oath are in process. But no date given. On top of page it says updated on April 28, 2021. The updates on bottom of the page just says about AOR on February 18th, 2021

thanks. Her application has been in process since April 13th. How long does it generally take? Any ideas. I am a citizen and so is my child. Just waiting for the wife to become a citizen

Hello Dear applicants from this Thread. I have come to realize about something. I noticed today come discrepancy between eCAS and new tracker, unless I am mistaking:

Application was filed Feb/26/2021 but eCAS says it was received Dec/21/2020. Then Apr/20th/2021 Background check is updated as completed.

I have 2 questions:

1. Am I correct on the assumption that there is some discrepancy?
2. Status for background check means is all cleared and good to go? Does anyone know how much longer after this?

If anyone could enlight me, it would be greately appreciated, I actually had 3 questions sorry.

do they started sending test invitations for Dec 2020 applicant, i have a friend who applied in January 2021 got an invitation for test, i applied in Dec 2020 and now in progress only back check completed, it seems they it is hard to expect when to receive anything in regards of test. and the people who applied online their application are treated faster.

Yes. The 'Application received' date is not on the new tracker. The new tracker considers your AOR date as the application received date.

2. Status for background check means is all cleared and good to go? Does anyone know how much longer after this?

It means your criminality and security checks have passed. After this, your application will be put in a queue for a test invite.

If anyone could enlight me, it would be greately appreciated, I actually had 3 questions sorry.

I got an email from IRCC on June 22 saying thank you for submitting your application. Your application was created in our system on March 11, 2021 and is currently in progress, and providing a link to the Citizenship Application Tracker. When I click on the link though, I keep getting error messages. When I google the tracker and try to create an account that way, I get the same message. I've tried different devices, different browsers, and same thing. Has anyone else had this problem? I assume this is the next step in the process, the change from AOR to in progress? Frustrating that I can't confirm it. Any ideas to get around this would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I suppose you received a HTTP error 403? Try disabling your VPN and try again.
