My wife received RCMP record check from India. She is in india and I am PA here Inland.
1.Do you have any idea why they are asking for this record even my wife never ever entered in canada ?
2. What are the sources we can use ?

IRCC can ask for PCC from any country irrespective of whether you have been to that country or not. If you can not provide a PCC you can inform IRCC and explain the reasons for it.

To get an RCMP fingerprinting from India, you can search online and there are some service providers who do it.

RCMP is a massively incompetent organisation. It takes 90 days to complete a fingerprint check (which it says it should in 3 days). To make the matter worse, it uses untracked Canada post to send the report! Many people lost their RCMP letter, some even TWICE!

Funny part? IRCC does NOT WANT a paper copy any ways, just scanned version. RCMP could have done all of us a favour by sending JUST the email! Why the hell they need to involve Canada post of all things! Why print it at all?

Same thing happened to me mid DEC but on 21 Dec it changed to medical passed. I believe its medical extension
