We submitted my wife's application to NS and application was received on the 16th. We received the AOR yesterday.
So for all the Folks from Dec 16th and/or after AOR should be coming this week.

Hi all! I'm a newbie posting here, but thought I'd share my timeline. I am a Canadian woman living with my boyfriend who is British. We've applied for the common-law sponsorship visa. Here's our progress so far:

Application Received: Dec 5
AOR: Received Dec 18
Medical Request: Jan 4
Sponsorship Acceptance: Jan 7

call CIC and ask if any update. usually they give standard reply and does not provide any thing. and they say that processing time is of one year and it may take an year. and that is big bull shit answer. whenever I called I got same reply.[/QUOTE]

They ask for UCI number of sponsor. that works. I spoke to agent although not a satisfactory information. but it works.

He's a citizen and applying for the first time. The only thing we got is the official receipt starts with R and followes by 9 numbers. We sent our application through mail

Are you entering the correct number for how many people in the application? You have to count the PA, the sponsor and any dependents even if not joining. I didn't count the sponsor at first and got the same message.

I had that mistake too I'm trying with 2 now
