Okay! I sent from Toronto today. It should take 2/3 day, but with all the holidays might take a bit longer. Are you living in DR currently? I wonder where they will send us for bio-metrics and medicals in DR?

I'm also applying for Quebec (from the USA). Still waiting on AOR1 for the federal application and then some time later we'll be invited to submit the CSQ application. Unfortunately, based on other topics in the forum it looks like Quebec is taking approximately 4 months to process these applications.... MIFI claims this won't delay permanent residence but that's hard to believe given that some applications for other provinces can be processed in their entirety in just over 4 months.
Not really. The earliest you can link just hours before AOR comes, that means the info is in the system already but AOR hasn't been sent yet. You'll probably have to wait until the second week of January at least.
Speaking about this, long ago I've read somewhere that one can link an application around 5 days after the receipt and it stated that this was how much time CIC needed to enter info into the system. I almost killed myself trying to link it every day and not being successful until someone correctly suggested that 5 days was for online applications only
So, be patient congrats on getting this far. I just submitted today, so not expecting to hear back soon. I’m also sponsoring my hubby from DR. We should def keep in touch during the process. Praying everything goes smoothly.
Received Dec 02, AOR Dec 19!! Excellent Xmas gift!! It will be slow for the holiday period but hopefully it will get back to the short AOR's after that.
