Being a sponsor, I just wanted to know whether it will be ok to travel outside Canada during this process or will that impact the application in any way?

Just wondering how we would get to know if and when our application has been transferred to visa office for processing. We got sponsorship approval 10 days ago and have since completed biometrics and passed the medical. Should we be checking ECAS for info about the transfer, or waiting for an email? I'm the representative as well as being the sponsor, so I get all the emails, but maybe my wife should be looking out for snail mail since she's the PA?

I made a mistake while submitting my wife’s imm 008 enu form I type “M” instead of Female (in the box of gender selection)
Do I need to resubmit that form again?
In the bio metric instruction letter IRCC typed the Gender as “M". any idea about that?
