Hi All,
I am also in similar situation like many others whether inland or outland. I am outland copr Dec 16 by the way. I feel everyone's frustrations as I feel the same way. But here is something I have realized. We can expect wonders from the Canadian government, but we also have to take a step back once in a while and think that it is a very bizarre situation, beyond expectation of any country in the world. And now that we are in this situation we have to respect the measures Canada is taking to tackle the situation. And one big step is to stop inflow of people who can undo the progress ofcourse not intentionally. It is hard to trace people in incubation or have developed immunity without knowing but are very likely to infect others. I have thought like many of you here and blamed the Canadian government in my mind, but when I look at countries like USA and India, I feel that Canada has done a great job with controlling the situation and helping it's people financially. I think of Canada as my future home and I want it to be safe to move in to. Even if it takes a little longer, I will have to deal with that. Better safe than sorry. Things have been slow with immigration and it is because they had to redirect the resources to essential services. They are working at lower capacity, and they can either reply to webforms and gcms requests or use that time to process applications. By getting frustrated is the loss of our own sanity and energy. And no offense to friends who are at greater loss because they are going through financial loss, emotional suffering or for any other reason. I feel your pain and I pray that all this gets over soon and we get to experience the receipt of golden emails. Till then stay strong and safe. Only we can help us deal with this situation to great extent. Please don't take an offense, nothing is intentional. I feel that a little positivity in stressful situation goes a long way.
Best of luck to all!
