Hello @legalfalcon and all,

Compliments of the season. I just got a request to fill the IMM 5669 form. The question is, how should I fill up my education? On my express entry application, in the education section, I only filled my Master’s degree, since that’s what I have had my ECA done on (being my highest level of education).

However, the IMM 5669 form is asking for the full details of all my secondary and post-secondary education. Do I fill just my Master's degree on my ECA only OR fill in my BSc degree as well?

Kindly advice.

You will have to fill in all your education. Even in your application for PR, you have to fill in all your information and there is an option that asks of you have got an ECA for it. Only if you have an ECA will you get points for that education.

I know this question was asked a thousand times already. I'll ask it again anyways, probably due to desperation, any idea when FSW-O applications processing will resume?

thanks, and happy new year.

@legalfalcon is there a thread to discuss visitor visas ?
@legalfalcon I have a query relating to a Canadian visit visa - My partner who is currently living in the US would like to visit Canada on a visit visa to get his US visa extended / stamped at a US consulate in Ontario. His current US visa on his passport expires next month. Should he apply under a tourist visa category or would this be under "other"? Does he need to upload a letter explaining the details of the validity of his US visa and eligibility to stay in the US as per the new petition? He just wants to make sure that his canada visit visa is not rejected when he applies. Thank you in advance.

If an individual is not from a visa-exempt country, they need a visa to enter Canada. It will be a tourist visa unless they meet the requirements of another visa category and want to apply under that.

Thanks so much @legalfalcon . What is the duration for the Canadian visit visa? Is it 10 years for everyone or does it depend on the US visa stamped in the Passport?

Usually, Canadian visas are issued for 10 years - multiple entries. However, a visa cannot be issued beyond the validity of the passport.

Canadian visa has nothing to do with US visas. Canadian forms ask for US visas because Canada and USA share criminal record databases.
