This is also unfair.. They should have made decisions on files from 2019 by now.
I agree with you. It is unfair as it is unfair to claim that they are not processing our applications because of non-existent travel restrictions or because of lack of agents when more than 600.000 immigrants were processed and landed in the meantime. But they can set their own (unjustified) priorities and do whatever they want, even if it is not fair.

I think at this stage they are finalizing already approved applications, regardless of the date in which they were received.
I think they are just finalising random files. There are so many people with approved status in GCMS notes but they are not touching these files even after so much time. As per notes my file was approved in March 2020 and after that there is complete silence. Let’s hope they will pick up some pace and finalise our applications as we have been waiting for 2 years.

Yes, obviously the fact that they started finalizing files does not mean that they are done yet. Moreover, files were always processed randomly, so randomization propagated to today...

Hi @legalfalcon ,

I recieved PPR request and in the email it is written that "Your passport(s) should be valid for at least 12 months and have at least two blank pages." My passport has got only 9 months of validity(Aug-2022) and I know from GCMS notes that my COPR is valid until Apr-2022, so it is before my passport gets expired.

Does that mean I must change my passport before applying for visa ? Or it is just a suggestion from IRCC to have min 12 months valid passport ?

I'm FSW-Outland , residing outside of Canada.

Thanks in advance!
If you can renew the PP quickly then do it, if not, then you can send the current one.

We have remed to be submitted before 25th Nov, on 13th Nov we have remed examination appointment, but we are a little bit confused on doing the X-Ray since we might be pregnant, not sure though. Is it possible if we do the remed without an X-ray and after 8 days we got to know we are not, do they take an X-ray and upload it separately?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you in Advance.

Hi @legalfalcon sir, I have one small query as per my GCMS notes file is approved since March 2020 and there is no movement after that. Not even related to medicals. Application assignment below approved is blank? Is it something to worry about?

YOur panel physician will make a determination on the x-RAY. IRCC has a protocol in place for individuals who are pregnant on x-Ray.

Best is to discuss it with your panel physician.

If the final is blank then a decision has not been made on your application. IRCC is continuing to send PPRs, and you will just have to wait it out.

There is nothing to worry about, you just to wait for your PPR.

Hi @legalfalcon & Members

I am SINP Nominated 2019 AOR applicant. I recently received PPR email and now waiting for my COPR.
I am planning to fly for my first landing in February 2022.

My question is that since my Nominated Province is Saskatchewan and City of destination will be Regina, while landing for the first time at Toronto airport and as there will be immigration formalities done there, can I stay 2-3 days in Toronto (Due to long Journey) and then fly to my COD -Regina or do I need to book the connecting flight to Regina and land there.

Thanks in advance for your suggestion.

As soon as you land in Canada and are admitted, you can live and stay in any province. However, since you have been nominated by a Province, you have some resident obligations i.e. intent to settle and live there, but it in no way stops you from spending a few days or months in another part of Canada, including Quebec.

This is your right as a PR, and is granted by the Constitution, called "Mobility Rights"
