Hey!

Where did you get such info? Why do you think IRCC prioritizing PNP?

What i told was bases on what i observed in Indian PPRs... n most PNPs are being processed in Sydney CIO. So we feel CIO SYDNEY is active.
I hv no idea y its like that.

Hi everyone,
Finally got PPR mail. As many of members said it was emotionally draining journey. Hope you all get the same soon.

Congratulations .... God speed to your new journey !!!!!

May I ask, which VO?

I received a GU today and my medicals expired on Dec 18th. However, no changes to my applications. It still says "You passed the medical exam" and not "You dont need a medical exam etc..."

Any idea why @legalfalcon

I just hope this doesn't reflect negatively on my application. I had also applied for GCMS notes on Nov 11th. Haven't received it yet.

Hi @legalfalcon now that the VACs are open and almost working at full capacity, how will it improve the process to obtaining a PPR? I know that VACs are important for biometrics, but for applicants who have already submitted their biometrics (before the lockdown), how would its reopening affect them? Another way of asking this question would be - What are the roles and responsibilities of the VAC? Is it only confined to biometric collection?

Okay. Thank you for the information. I think there is no point seeking MP’s intervention

If there is something urgent, you can surely contact your MP. If not, then you can wait.

If your medials have expired or will expire, then they would have been sent for reassessment to the Regional Medical Officer, who will make a determination on whether to extend or ask for a remedial. This sometimes triggers a GU.

As regards GCMS notes, most notes are delayed or have extensions. This is largely due to the fact that there are extensive lockdowns due to COVID which has impacted most IRCC operations.

@legalfalcon But this is applicable only for Inland candidates if I’m right?

You can contact a MP even if your are not in Canada. You can contact the MP where you plan to reside after you move to Canada.
