Hi,As per IRCC:
- For the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must have been issued no more than 6 months before the submission of the e-APR.
- For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the applicant stayed in that country for 6 months or more in a row.
- Police certificates meeting the above requirements can be accepted even if they have an expiry date that has passed.
- This includes the requirement to provide a police certificate for countries in which the individual has travelled for 6 months or more in a row, whether or not the individual had an established residential address during this time.
- Police certificates are required upfront and are mandatory for each country (except Canada) where an individual has spent 6 months or more in a row within the last 10 years. The individual does not need to provide one for any period of time before the age of 18.
If your PCC meets the above criteria, you are good.
You have to rely on one report and change your profile accordingly. If you are claiming points for Master's degree, update for profile accordingly and add the report for which have the evaluation as Master's.Guys I have one question, I received my ices eca post ita wherein they have considered my degree as masters (wes termed the same degree as 3 yrs graduation). Now in the personal details as well as in the docs upload section should I upload the latest eca from ices or should I keep the wes eca only, or should I upload both.
Also is transcripts required when submitting the docs or marksheets will do, as i dont have my masters transcript and acquiring the same will set me back by at least 1 month.
If you have lived in any country for more than 6 months, and you no longer live there, you need to obtain a PPC for that country.Hi,
What do you mean by for countries where the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the applicant stayed in that country for 6 months or more in a row?
I came to Canada for university and the last time I was in my home country for more than 6 months was in 2012. My police report was issued in December 2019. It wouldn’t make sense to get a police report issued in 2012 though. Your response is greatly appreciated =)
I would, but the only problem is that, once you receive ita then you can't change anything in your profile everything gets locked. You have to rely on one report and change your profile accordingly. If you are claiming points for Master's degree, update for profile accordingly and add the report for which have the evaluation as Master's.
Why do you still need to claim additional points with a master's if you already have an ITA?I would, but the only problem is that, once you receive ita then you can't change anything in your profile everything gets locked.
If your CRS score is over the ITA, you need not worry. Also any changes after your receive ITA will not be accepted even if you submit your documents. You should be able to meet the CRS on the day the cutoff was declared and ITA issued.I would, but the only problem is that, once you receive ita then you can't change anything in your profile everything gets locked.
