December 2018 Paper Based PR Inland Applicants

I am worried
I have sent my PR-Inland application on Dec 19, 2018, an,d still haven't heard from CIC. The number of family members including Principal applicant is 4.

More people could be taking longer probably?

I am applying for myself only and package is really simple that may be why I am faster than you. Give it a bit more time and contact CIC if still havent heard anything.

Hi Everyone,

it's bee a while now I think we all got our AOR from CIC.

did anyone got any new update on their application? its been 8 months for me now since I submitted my file and 6 months from AOR I haven't heard anything back yet and remaining time on my file processing is 11 months.

if you guys have any new updates on your file please keep us all posted.

Why is your process so fast? Isn't paper application gonna take like 18 months to process or sth? My CIC shows my application will be reviewed by Summer 2020 and I submitted my package in December 2018 same as you. How come mine is so slow? I am inland PNP.

Hi there,

I am not sure why yours is taking so long but there could be multiple reasons behind it.

it could be your nationality, your Job, your time on your work permit left and many more.

As far as I understand, standard processing time for paper application is indeed around 1 year and half, only the express entry takes like 6 months. have you linked your application to CIC account? You can see the progress bar there. Mine says the completion date is June 2020. Can you tell me yours?
