Today I notice that after expiry date of my medical (11 nov) my medical status has changed to "You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes." (at first i jumped after seeing profile updated message, thought it to be a ghost update). Is this message common after expiry of medical or is it any sign of extension of medical validity?

I would take it as extension if it says you dont need it. But maybe still keep an eye out on your account. Are you still waiting on PPR?

No, it is a common message after the medical expires. Now the officer has to pick your application to send either a remedical request or to extend it

Submitted my passport and other required items to CPC ottawa on the 8th and it got delivered on the 12th.
How long is the average turnaround time to receive the passport back and how does one track the process apart from tracking the courier?(asking the folks who have been through it) Thanks!

It took me close to 3 weeks to get the passport back.

Hello everyone!!
After a long wait of 11.3 months, finally received ppr email.
But they haven’t requested remedical to be done. So, I hope they give sufficient time to travel.

My timelines :
Aor - Dec 10th, 2018
Medical passed - Jan 22nd, 2019
ADR - July 24th, 2019
Ip2 - Oct 30th, 2019
Ppr - Nov 13th, 2019
Vo - Montreal

I hope everyone receive their ppr soon without waiting this long.

Is there any sequence when people receive PPR emails , in most of the cases i noticed that they usually send it on Monday or first day of the week.

Hello everyone,

Quick question, 1 yr of validity for medicals is considered the date I have done the medical (Nov 2018) or the date showing on the portal (Jan 2019)?

Please help. If I have never been to Canada, is it necessary to obtain CBSA notes when trying to find details into the progression of security process? Or are CSIS notes alone would be sufficient?

Eligibility & Security passed
Criminality not started
Medical expired

Clueless about I'll be asked to do remeds or it'll be extended.

:(

Just got my first update since January! Ghost update, though I am assuming it is most likely regarding medicals, as they expired yesterday..

Any idea how long it takes before it shows on the portal whether the medical needs to be done again or is extended?

We got the request directly without any ghost update or email. We only got the message in our account. Our medicals were valid till November 22nd. November 8th we got remedicals request, went remedicals on 11th and got the Remedicals passed today, November 14th. Fingers crossed waiting for PPR now
