Hello @legalfalcon,

AOR - Dec 12th, 2018.

Per GCMS notes, my eligibility status is 'Review Required'. The Officer notes stated "Client has declared employer as "C", however work experience has been issued by "E" for this declared work period. - Review Required"

I have been working in an Employer-Client model in USA where, E is my employer (hence the work experience letter from same) and C is the client location that I used to work for. However, I don't remember declaring 'C' as the employer in my application (except for pointing out that my client is C in my Resume).

What are my choices here going forward?

- Raise a CSE and clarify the issue (presenting evidence of pay stubs from every month and bank statement too to show the proof of deposit) - OR
- Wait for IRCC to ask me for clarification.

If the answer is to raise a CSE, wouldn't that cause the officer to think that I have misrepresented myself in the application and lead to a straight denial.

I appreciate any suggestions that you might have.

Thanks,
Shiva
A letter of explanation is always given respectful regard. Just explain yourself clearly. Coming forward to explain a misconception is not misrepresentation - misrepresentation is obscuring the truth.

I got another update today. It said that "October 2, 2019 You passed the medical exam." It seems that they have extended my medical.
I just got the "Ready for Visa" email! I can't believe that finally this nightmare came to an end. I'm so thankful for the support and advices of all forum members and I hope the rest of you to get it soon. For your reference:

Hi guys, I have been a silent reader in this forum. After passing almost 10 months mark, today, I finally received the Golden email !!

I promised myself if I get the PPR email, I will share the good news here and hopefully can mentally help those who have been in the same situation as me. (pass the 6 months benchmark and feel life is over) I know there are many people put their life plans depend on this.

There are few "Life lessons" I learned from IRCC in this journey.

1. When you pass the 6 months, don't panic, the first thing you do is to raise the webform and call them if you can. (breakdown all the questions in eligibility, criminal record, security, etc. The agent will send the reminder note to the officer)

2. Email the local MP and if the local MP didn't reply to you. You can try email Golden -" the legendary hero" , with your name, AoR and EE application number. His office will normal reply back within a day or so. ( if you read the past thread in this forum, you can find his email address)

3. Do not try to check your email like 10 times a day. The more you checked, the more disappointed you will be. (Don't ask me why I know, it is an endless rabbit hole)

4. If the answer from IRCC and local Member of Parliament didn't satisfy what you are looking for, then order note from IRCC. It is the only way you know what is happening to your file. (Usually, email are generic messages, except for local MP)

5. Last but not least, keep your life as usual. Go eat what you want to eat, have fun. Check the mailbox once a day, then wait. Immigration officers have their own magical way of doing things. Nothing you do will expenditure the process, so save the energy.

Medical: January 22, 2019 ( no update after medical, dead silent for 9 months)
Online portal no update yet. I will post the detail later.
In June, I emailed IRCC for an update. They replied my email in mid-August ( It takes they two months to reply a generic message)
In July, I emailed Goden MP for once and knew my eligibility was under review and the officer recommends pass. Security check did not start yet.
PPR email: Oct 3rd, 2019

Every time I almost lost faith, I come here to regain the inner peace when I saw someone receive their PPR. It is really helpful.

I sincerely hope all of you get the golden email soon. It was a crazy ride. Thank you all.

Be proactive, since the issue is clear and send a CSE and clarify the issue.

Congratulations and all the best :)

I have a few questions regarding submitting my passport for visa from more experienced members. The PPR sent to me by Ankara office, but I've moved to France since January this year and updated my address afterwards.
1. Does it mean that they haven't updated my address in their system, otherwise it should be in Paris office and not in Ankara? Where can I check my registered address in CIC? If it is not updated, do you advise me to update it now?
2. Given that my visa office is Ankara, can I give my passport to VAC in Paris (VFS global)?
3. How long generally will it take to receive your passport?
Thanks in advance for your insights:)

Thanks guys. My Case Processing Centre was Ottawa.
Congratulations!! I saw you got medical extension. Could you please share the first date your medicals would get expired?

My AOR is Dec 23rd and my medicals will expire in Nov 22nd. I am wondering the probability of getting an extension.

Hi Guys,

I've been a silent reader of this forum for past few months, thank you all for valuable discussions.

My AOR is Dec24th 2018. My medical was cleared in Feb and my account has not been touched since. On my account it says background has not started yet. My application is in London office.
I've raised a couple of web forms and received standard reply that my application is pending review.

I can't seem to find any contact number for London Office. Anyone in the same situation? And any suggestions?
I'm based in UK right now

TIA
