Hello all. I am now a Canadian permanent resident. I did my soft landing Aug 24 late at night at YYZ and I just got back.

If you tagged me in a question, tag me again if you still need help. Most I saw were already answered (better than I could anyway, especially by @legalfalcon). He has me worried about the PR card shipping since a friend of mine will be shipping them to me. I wasn't under the impression this was wrong in any way, previously.

Here is my landing experience. PR Card Tracker is in my signature.

It's PPR guys!!!!

Country: Nepal

A big silence after this.

The call center guys were very helpful for us.Each time we called they gave us exact information. We called every week after completing 6 months and from the beginning of August they told us that we may receive our PPR within August and here it comes!!!

All the best for for those waiting for the golden mail. Don't lose hope.. You'll receive it soon!!!

What would be the validity of the IM-1 visa? Will it be inline with medical validity? Would appreciate if anyone could help.

This question might have been asked and answered earlier, sorry if repeating!

PPR on 29/8/19! I sincerely wish the same to all members of the forum.
No ghost updates for me, but I did experience crashing pages yesterday late afternoon and received the PPR email a couple of hours later. No changes on the account today.

All the best and PPRs to all!

Congrats!!!

@legalfalcon is not wrong but in practice many people based in US get their PR cards shipped and I haven't read any unpleasant incident so far in this forum. Even I got mine shipped to USA.

Congrats to everyone who got their PPR.

Just a question, did anyone with an application in Sydney, NS get their PPR yet ?

Thanks in advance for sharing.
