Awesome congrats, this gives me hope.

PPR finally, no email though. AOR 6th dec. montreal VO. A message popped up in my CIC account with a link to a letter requesting us to send passports to New York. Surprised as I thought US folks are required to send directly to Canada.

Does anyone knows if New york vfs rejects photos as I have seen that to be a big problem due to nom availability of Canadian visa specific photos in US?

Experts.. I have some queries regarding IMM5669 form:

1) in the education section, do I need to mention my studies after 12th standard or should also mention 12th and 10th class? If yes, then in the name of institution, should I write university/ board name or college/school name???

2) from last one year, i am freelancing. Should I mention that or just put unemployed in that column?

3) do I also need to mention those companies for which I have not claimed points??

I believe this is partially true. Visa-exempt countries need to send a copy of the passport biographical pages/endorsements (in addition to the photos).

Can someone confirm the following for VFS New York PPR submission -

- Is the package transmission fee ($19.99) per applicant? We're 2 adults and a toddler.
- Do we need to pay any other fee except the package transmission fee?
- VFS New York webpage states to send a prepaid return label. PPR letter states that it will be returned via USPS first class mail and only to send the return label if we need priority/express service. Can someone clarify?
- TTS consent form per applicant or per file?
- Need to submit passport (copy for visa exempt citizen), 2 photos/applicant, TTS consent form, PPR letter, money order/applicant, anything else?

4. I have 1 as well. Just saw that. i didn't see that when I received mine.

I have collected my passport and CoPR, and I am v impressed by the speed and efficiency of the VFS-NDVO combo. My counterfoil (visa) and CoPR were printed by NDVO/IRCC Delhi within a day of receiving my passport, which I have back in my hands in eight days all told.

I have some questions for people who have been through this already:
1. For people who need visas, does your counterfoil also not have a picture? I'm so used to Schengen and other visas that have pictures of me staring back that it was strange to see nothing in the space where there ought to be my handsome mug.
2. Did they glue on one picture to the IRCC copy of the CoPR and return the second picture unattached? What does this mean? Will the second one be collected by the immigration officer at the point of landing?
2.a. Both the pictures I submitted have the details of the studio on the back, plus name, DOB and date of picture. Could it be that my second picture was returned because they need one that's totally blank on the back? (I actually have several Canada-sized pictures to spare from the June 2019 and December 2018 batches, which I intend to bring with me to Canada.)
3. Does this mean the picture has been accepted and is unlikely to be rejected at the time of processing the PR card?
4. Were you curious to see "Surveillance Code 1" mentioned on your CoPR? Does yours have a different code? Is "1" the default for "non-shady" people?

You should fill accordingly to the last 10 years, if in the last 10 years you were in 11th grade then you should mention the institution, the city and the grade if applicable.

What did you illustrate in your professional experience during the application did you mention freelance or unemployed, you should respond accordingly.
If you mentioned that you were working as freelancer during filling the online application then you should mention your freelance jobs, I would suggest to accompany your IMM5669 with an LOE (you can put it at the end of the form) explaining the nature of your freelancing jobs with duties, number of working hours per project, payments you received, contracts with your clients even if it is coming from websites such as freelance.com.

I, personally, do not have a response for that. There is a group on facebook called Ask Kubeir - Express Entry / Canada PR , it is resourceful, you can post your questions there as well.

My general advice is to keep your background in IMM5669 very detailed and clear to make its processing efficient and fast, do not forget to mention your abroad trips.

1. No photo on visa counterfoil.

2. Yeah, they also returned my second photo back. I don’t know why but I’ll take it with me for first time landing.

2.a. Nothing like that I think. Better to take all the photos you have with you while landing first time. But I don’t think they’ll ask for more photos. They will just keep one copy of the CoPR (the one with photo) and return the other one. I don’t remember anyone saying that they asked for photos.

3. Yes, your photo is accepted. No chance of a rejection now. Your PR photo will be scanned from your CoPR photo.

4. Surveillance code 1 means no conditions. Totally normal.

@g90 @derkdsou did any of you guys had an expired passport?? Did you guys submit both the old and new passport? Or just the new one?
