We verified the information you provided and can confirm that the application is still in process.

All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.

While the processing times may vary with each case, we will make all the necessary efforts to finalize your application as soon as possible.

Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.

We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

We would also like to suggest the following online services that might be helpful to you with any immigration, refugee and/or citizenship future requests:

That's the most generic reply I received after raising a web form.
Just a Template..... I've demonstrated funds in my country's currency and it goes for Review Required. Seems non sense to me you can have the currencies exchange rates in any available public data base, and we send documents so thoroughly reviewed....

It is too bad, I have raised a complain to my local MP and they called me for a meeting in her office next week (probably with a staff member). I will show all my emails, GMCS Notes not received, emails to the information commissioner not responded, hopefully they may give some sort of support. Let's hope for the best.

I've set a reminder for July 5 to call my bank to get a new PoF. Really looking forward to that whole process again. I'll need it to land since mine is old now.

I hope at least it reminds them that they still have my file and it's collecting dust. Funny thing I asked my VO specifically and they didn't tell me about that. Even the agent on call couldn't tell me where my file was.

It seems to be disorganized. I'm very disappointed because I took a lot of time and money to prepare my application. I've translated all my proof of funds by certified translator and it was not cheap.

Super frustrated

@USProgrammer

At risk of jinxing my chances at PPR (F it, live once, yolo, whatever :)) I suspect we'll be in a similar situation if I ever get my PPR, of how to work for an American employer whilst living in Canada. I'm certain that you've looked at this, and I'm relatively assured that you'd be happy to share your knowledge with lazy bastards like myself who haven't yet been inspired to do the research. What's the proc to get to work for an American employer when living in Canada? Can you please start a thread (or link me to your pre-existing thread if it exists)?

And when are you writing the AI to preempt and answer such adhoc/irritating requests? Or have you done it already?

Spotted.

It’s not online application ? I have applied for express entry on 3 dec .. after medical I didn’t get any update .. idk whether they have R10 completeness on my file
Here is where I got the information from: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/temporary-residents/foreign-workers/provincial-nominees-permanent-resident-applicants/bridging-open-work-permits.html

"Before issuing a BOWP, officers must check the Global Case Management System (GCMS) to ensure that the CIO has reviewed the application and determined that it meets the requirements of a complete application, as described in sections R10 and R12.01. If the e-APR is incomplete, the application for a BOWP must be refused. The open work permit holder fee can be refunded, but the processing fees cannot."

R10 is not explicitly stated on your CIC online account. However, you should be able to find out easily by either calling CIC or ordering a GCMS note.
