My dear friends and fellow friendzoneds, I was just bumped up to IP2!

I'm cautiously optimistic because I do have an ETH and I wonder if I will have a prolonged background check, but I am going to ride this wave of excitement first and start worrying later. I'll be speaking to the call center to find out my status as soon as I have 30 minutes to spare. And, yes, when I checked my profile this afternoon it said "Application/profile updated" and the background check status switched to "We are processing your background check".
Congrats dear friend and I wish you very good luck! I pray for your to have the PPR soooooon :) enjoy your time for now.

Absolutely brilliant! Congratulations! Do you believe your IP2 was generated on 12/7 and your PPR request on 13/7 Canada time, assuming your VO was Ottawa? Essentially, how much time passed between your IP2 and PPR?
Thank you.
You are right. Canada time 12 june ip2 and 24 hours later 13 june PPR email.

File was in cio sydney when i had first update (ip1/A11.2 eligibility Met)
Then moved to ottawa. I guess VO is ottawa then

Did you receive an email @derkdsou for moving to Bckg check? Is your file still in Ottawa ?

AOR - 23rd December 2018, status shows- medical passed on 5th Feb 2019. 180 get over in 9 days.

What are the options that one can take up in case of non receipt of PPR/ update of status after completion of 180 days?

I cant even imagine what you are going through. I belive you have too resigned from your job like i did. Its difficult to wait and have nothing to do the entire day.
I went under severe depression a few days ago. It was a good thing I left my job because if I was still working my mental health would have taken a huge beat down.

I am pretty much exhausted.

My AOR: 14th December
No update since medical passed

CPC: Ottawa
Response from Ottawa on query: your file is in queue for review by an officer.

I am so depressed. I am on a work permit and am waiting for the PR to come so I can quit my job. I absolutely hate my job and my employer is aware of my situation. I can't take this anymore

I feel you. I am so depressed. I can barely get out of bed and go to work each morning. Today I was just weeping in my bedroom because it's the 6 month mark and I've heard absolutely nothing

I'm the opposite, I feel like if I was working I'd at least have something to keep my mind busy. Being at home makes me think about this every day

I feel you brother. Please do not let things get into your head. I would say keep ur self engaged and if you are in IT you can get some certification just like I am currently pursuing.
