I just realized that i didn't include exit and entry stamps from India and Canada respectively while i submitted my application. But there is only one exit stamp from India and an entry stamp into canada. Do you think i need to raise a cse and notify the same. May be it's because of this reason that my application is held up for a long time? Any thoughts please

Congratulations to all who received pprs today :)
I see pprs from every VO except Edmonton..
I think something is terribly wrong with them.
Or may be they read thru the forums and see how people are desperate to hear something positive from that VO and have a sadistic pleasure in delaying the applications... Whoa.. I am thinking all sorts of wierd things... I should sue these people for causing me so much trauma :p
:(:(:(

I got an email "You have a new message in your account for application" and there was an update on my profile but nothing changed on the profile.

In the documents, I see Information letter which is not opening. Such a ghost update happened with my profile for the second time. The first time it happened was in January.

Can someone please help me understand what exactly this is.

I was finally able to open the file in a different browser. It says this:

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the

following steps within 30 days in order to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, permanent

residence visa.

And asking to courier documents, does this mean that I got a PR?

Yes. Congratulations. Odd that some people get it as a message in the account and others just get an email.

Where to get the photo according to their specification in the USA?
Use google and look for a local visa photographs place. Call and make sure they have a 5x7cm cutter and know Canadian 5x7 standards. If you get it done at Walgreens/CVS they don't have a cutter and it will have to be manually cut and is more likely to be refused.

So I have received my first set of GCMS notes today. Eligibility status: Review Required. After reading through, seems that review is required for the FUNDS. I am not sure why, because the amount we have provided proof for is actually larger than what we declared in the application. We declared CAD 29,000 for a family of 4, but provided proof for CAD 40,000. However, they are not all on the same bank account. Half is on my husbands account and half on mine (me being the principal applicant). Could this be the reason for the review required? Any insights please...and would it be a good idea to transfer all the money to my account, before they ask for an updated proof of funds?
I'm also on review of funds, application assigned to CB01126, unfortunately, will probably take a long time (seems that the queue is very big)

Hi guys,

I got the landing interview request email today and it is scheduled to June 24th. I got 2 questions (might be stupid but just want a confirmation):

1. There is $490 RPRF payment instruction in the letter, but I paid $1040 when I applied (the receipt did not mention the fee breakdown). Does it mean I don't need to pay anything at this moment?

2. Do I need to bring or prepare anything before go to the interview (apart from 2 photo, landing letter, passport, receipt, SIN)? Since there is no other emails (ready for visa/PPR etc.), this is the only email I got. Not sure if this is another version of PPR.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Application detail:

MEP Jan 25th,
CEC inland
landing interview request Jun 11 (not sure if this is the PPR)

Appreciate the help :)
