Hi everyone. I have been a silent reader of this blog for a few months now. I am in the same boat as most of you, that is NO update since MEP.
I have lost all hope with just 5 days to go for the infamous progress bar to fill up. This one sided relationship with IRCC is not working out for me.

My timelines are as follows:
AOR - 13th Dec
MEP - 25th Jan
VO - Ottawa
Ordered GCMS notes 16 days back.

How did you order? Any friend or through getgcms?

Throwing my hat in the ring!
How about "The Ignored Elders" ;) and I'm about to join the group in 10 days

Can someone please clarify this for me, when an IRCC agent tells me on the phone that the primary VO for my case is CIC Sydney, and the secondary VO is Ottawa, does that mean my case was done being processed at CIC Sydney and is currently at Ottawa?

Hey Sylvia!

Someone just posted here a day or two ago, where he explained his story. He had troubles with eligibility because of his noc unclear (discovered with notes) so he raised a CSQ, submitted a new reference letter and he got his PR. I'm pretty sure I've seen it happening before in another forum.

I hope all goes well for you as well.

Thank you very much Maya. Yes I have tried to make efforts from my end. Now all I can do is to wait for some possitive news.

It was at one point being processed in Ottawa, but currently being processed in Sydney.

So it’s the other way around? I thought CIO Sydney always does the initial processing then distribute cases to other VOs, are cases occasionally sent back and forth between CIO and the secondary VO?

It would make sense to have primary office handle the most of the file processing due to workload distribution and refer to secondary if more information is needed or transfer the file for finalizing the application.

This is just my interpretation.

Is there any incidence of people getting PPR after 180 days? Do they usually reject applications after such delay?

:D these days a good % of applications are getting approved after 180 days. It is just an anticipated deadline given by IRCC, Some even get after a year as well.
