This is for those who are waiting for their passports to get back with COPR after submitting it to nearby VFS.


I have submitted my passport on 23.05.2019 at VFS Ahmedabad, India.
It was then sent to IRCC New Delhi on 24.05.2019.
My application was approved on 30.05.2019(GC Account Updated to Approved) and return courier tracker was also activated as I have opted to get my passport back at home instead of collecting it in person from VFS Ahmedabad.
The courier Company (Blue Dart in my case) is showing expected date to deliver as 01.06.2019.

I have applied as family of 2 and I went alone to submit passport for both of us with consent form(Available on website of VFS Global India) in two copies for each, one copy of passport and two photos as specified for each along with Ready for Visa mail printout.

You can know it by two ways which are either by calling CIC or by raising web form.

You can follow below steps respectively.

A. Calling CIC - steps
1- CIC call centre +16139444000
2- English press 1
3- Immigration press 1
4- Transfer to citizenship and immigration can processing application press 1
5- Status or processing times press 1
6- Become permanent resident press 2
7- Application starts with E press 2
8- Then enter application number followed by #
9- Listen to the entered number and press 1 to confirm
10- Enter the year of birth and then listen the entered number and press 1 to confirm
11- Hear the details
12- Then press 1 to check status (there will be a pause)
13- Hear detailed status at the end press 0 to speak to agent
Use Skype or a US / Canada number or any international number service or app like hangout dialer
You can ask as below,
I would like to know the status of my application regarding eligibility, criminality and security.

B. This is the link for web form..

Here select following options for express entry profile and write message as below....

Thats great!!! I gave a few interviews and I am waiting for a job offer. Lets see how things turn out for me. BTW as a Business Analyst with 10 years of experience its hard to find good jobs these days that pay you well. I get calls who have a less than half the budget of my last drwan CTC.

Yeah...and they also need us to sign bond...so i just settled for less...but they are paying me well.. and it's better than nothing.. so i just went for it...

For the webform inquiry, is it required that the application must have completed 6 months , I applied on 20 dec so exactly 20 days left .Should I hope to get a answer from cic ?

Nope. There is no such requirements but CIC has full rights to whether share any information with you with regard to status of application or not for cases within estimated time line of 180 days.

However, you can always know your processing visa office irrespective of your remaining estimated time but information for current status of application depends on them for cases under 180 days.

are we the only ones with such bad luck.?
And did you notice, immitracker with FSW-O and nationality Indian , has no PPRs for 30th May and only 1 for 29th May (numbers are very less for this week). I am wondering if people are not updating it or PPRs have stopped coming for Indians. Strange!!!!

I stopped checking immitracker, I think some of them get so happy after getting it.. they just forget about updating their status...

Perhaps they hold releasing PPRs towards end of month...one of the many theories that we make up to calm our nerves

Hi all,

News like no updates and direct refusal confuses and terrifies me. I wonder if its a trend and there's a link between not attaching the documents like pay slips and having a delayed PPR or refusal for that matter. I haven't attached the pay slips in my application. Should i send it now? If yes then how( will that delay the PPR )? I am afraid because the ADR mail may go to the spam folder and I may never come to know about the disaster.

Also, all you folks who have got their PPR's please tell me if you guys attached your pay slips in the application.What is it man where am i wrong

Don't send additional documents unless they've been requested or something has changed. If you had missing documents that mattered, they'd have covered it in your r10. It takes 5-10 business days to add documents sent by the form into your file.

I submitted only a letter with information from my company's director. I got an unrelated ADR (family info) and have since received the RFV email.
