Congrats to the new PPR holders!

On the other hand, 28 days left and no movement since medicals... is it even worth raising a webform and asking what is going on?

Hi,

I am an FSW inland applicant. AOR Dec 7. I stay in Toronto and my wife works in Montreal. She was planning to join me once we got a PR. Now she has secured an admission at McGill University in Montreal. She has received CAQ (Permit from Ministry of Diversity & Inand wants to apply for a Study Permit. I am confused whether it would impact our PR application. I am the primary applicant and my wife applied as a dependent.

@legalfalcon @derkdsou @USProgrammer

It will not impact your PR, as you are the PA.

However, read these cases for a general understanding of the law:

Dhaliwal v. Canada (Citizenship and Immigration), 2016 FC 131 (CanLII) - https://www.canlii.org/en/ca/fct/do...cXVlYmVjIGludGVudCBGU1cgAAAAAAE&resultIndex=2

This is normal. Your application won't change until its complete. For actual status you nwes to call and ask or raise a form if you're past 6 months
I had called them today, and they said that eligibility i in process and I have to wait. I have also filed for my BOWP (With my spouse, who is India as of now :( . ). For both BOWP and PR the due date is 27th JUNE. and for both the authorities are checking my eligibility. little bothered about when will i get BOWP or PR.
