Hello Group,

Could please anyone answer this:

Last week it was saying in my profile that it is submitted for Permanent Residence.

Now I opened my profile and it says “Profile Updated” beside the permanent Residence tab.
But I don’t see any changes in the status of anything it’s All the same.
I am sure this means progress but what stage am I at?

Medical passed
Eligibility: Met
Background check: under Review.
Uploaded documents: Under review since last week.

The eligibility has be recommended pass by the agent but yet to be passed by the officer, may be the update is because of this.
It takes 2-3 days for an update to reflect.
After Eligibility, the last step will be your security/Background.

Background check started 2 months ago as well. They were reviewing my uploaded documents last week for RCMP criminal background check. Possibly they updated it.

So eligibility needs to marked Passed, what you have mentioned is Met.
Eligibility - MET (This happens when the case processing agent recommend is pass)
Eligibility - Passed (This is when the officer reviews the documents again and mark it pass )

Sorry the VO notes said : “Recommend Pass”

Hi All.....There is no update or change in status post IP2 stage - Apr 30. Any idea whats the maximum time they can take specifically after IP2 till PPR? I know there are people waiting at IP1 stage also and maximum time varies from case to case. Does travel history and No. of family members also impacts and increases the Background Check processing time?
Current Status: IP2 | AOR: 23-12-2018 | MEP: Feb 1st week - 2019 | IP1: Feb 1st week- 2019 | IP2: Apr 30, 2019| NOC: 1311 | FSW-Inland |
Cit: India| Res: Canada | Applicants: 4|

The background check takes 1-3 months, and yes more family members mean more time. As you are inland your time at this stage would be respectively less.
