I have a request to submit my docs but in the letter it's said "Ensure that your passport is valid for at least 12 months from the date of this letter".. My passport is expiring in 11.5 months :( I'm ready to send everything. Is there a point to submit right now or it's better to renew it before the submission?

Got my second set of notes... looks much like tr previous one... 30 days to the 6 month timeline... no movement whatsoever in the file... not sure if it is worth asking for a new set... call centre always occupied... waiting game as always

Your file has been assigned to which code? Mine is with CB01126, people say that this code usually takes long time....it is still on CIO Sidney as per my first set of notes. Ordered the 2nd set on May 1st, expecting to receive it on June 1st.... My deadline would be June 18th but already prepared for more months

May I ask how long it took you for them to request ADR and PPR? I am being stuck at RR for POF and I wanted to know if I should proactively submit the letter of explanation and ADR for them.

Thanks

Hi,

I got the funds from my relative in November. Got the bank letter showing the balance and then had the funds transferred back to the relative’s account the next day.

I didn’t ask anyone before doing this, as I knew it’s not really advised by CIC but had no choice. Needed to show the required funds.

If I somehow get the funds again and deposit them in the account, would it really work?
Honestly I think you are in a hard place. Since you make the transfer back to your relative so early, now it will show something sketchy in your bank statement and open up for more question. Whatever you do don't lie to CIC because they can investigate more to find out the truth.
You can show both your statement and your relative 's statement and explain to CIC that you have access to this money and wait for their decision. Obviously they can choose not to believe you and deny your application, which make it even harder the next time you apply for PR.
Another way is just withdraw the application and reapply it once you have the amount of money required.
