They started processing Dec files. I am Dec 3rd AOR and received Passport Request today. Once file is picked, approval after IP2 status is very fast.
Hmmm... now getting anxious as people are getting their mails... hopefully I will get mine soon...good luck to all the Members... atleast our wait is going to over soon

I hope so.

Do you know your Visa Office? Also any other updates after MEP? and why Biometrics for CEC?

Hi, my visa office is Ottawa. There is not any movement after IP2 on 26th Jan until I got ghost update today.
As to Biometrics, CEC does not require it as the official website said, but I submitted it along with other files when I applied. This is because I found CIC asked the CEC applicants to submit Biometrics when their cases were being processed.

Nothing to worry. VO Ottawa has started processing AOR for December. I am Dec 3rd AOR, and got Passport request today. Within 5 days of IP2 status, I got the approval
Not sure where did you got that information but still i will take it as a positive news. I believe that they pick up files randomly irrespective of the month.

No man. Been a week in IP2 and havent received it yet. Are you also in IP2?
Yes, I did receive an update today, and I could see many have had received their PPR emails in 2-3 days later. So thought of checking with you. Thanks for responding!

Guys,
Ive got a couple questions here. Anybody able to answer?
1. After I sent copies of my passport pages, I got another stamp in my passport. Also, I gained PR in another country. Should I inform CIC about it? I didnt marry anybody, but we have something like common law, but we havent been living together for more than 1 year. Should I inform CIC about it? And how?
2. When they send me the passport request, can I deliver it to other than Canada country? How to do it?

Thanks a lot.

Hi, regarding the first question about PR in another country, I believe you should let IRCC know about it through a webform and prepare a PCC for it (if not yet provided). In addition to that if your partner is going with you to canada, in my opinion you should declare her/him as accompanying partner if not yet done. I am not an expert but this seems to me logical. You can ask legalfalcon or any expert in this forum. If you want to be sure 100% you can contact Alex from LP international who is a helpful lawyer and used to work with immigration topics. Google it you can find his firm easily then you can consult them (fees may apply but in your case I think it is mandatory) below is their website:

Your address is still the same than AOR?

@Pura Vida What is the status of Additional Document on your profile? Is it still "reviewing" or "Not Applicable"?
