Had a good call with an agent a couple of weeks back. She explained that they use an outsourced company for the background checks and have to wait for them to come back with information before a file can move.. Particularly for th those in a situation like mine (AOR Dec 12th) with Eligibility 'met'.
The feeling I got was she was saying this process is out of their (CIC) hands.

is this for Security screening ?

Hello there,

I got an AOR since December 2018 did bio-metrics in January but the application seems stuck. Is there anyone with a similar experience? Need some encouragement/advice.

Thank you.

Hi guys

I requested my Notes through GetGCMS on March 25th and I was told that it would take 30 to 35 days to get the results.
Is this processing time in calendar days or business days only?

Thanks!

Hi I submitted my application in Dec 2018, medical passed in Jan 2019, no other updates still . The application status shows 45 days left for processing . Is the delay same in most cases ?
Each case is different, so you shouldn't be worried. Having said that, incase you haven't already, you should order your GCMS notes asap to know the exact status your application.

Lol, most of us in the same boat :).

Gotta hang in there folks, my aor is Dec 8, meds passed 19 Jan and nothing after that.

Biting me teeth since then :)

Kinda dark before the dawn.

I suggest u raise a web form, also call an agent tk find out qhat exactly is going on.

Same here. AOR 18th Dec, MEP 30th Jan and nothing after that.
Guess the processing is getting slower now. They have a backlog to work on first.
All of us will get there for sure :)

If you check your LinkedIn profile you may know the Company which does the vetting of profile and background
