That's very odd. That seems you're in IP1 without having gone through MEP. You might want to contact IRCC (see my signature) and ask what's up with your medical.

Hey so I called CIC today. Was told that my background check is in progress but my medical has not been updated yet. Also the officer is reviewing my request to add my spouse to the application.

Anybody ever heard of IP1 happening before MEP?

My timeline is as follows

AOR: Dec 21, 2018
1st CSE: Jan 10, 2019 (To add my spouse to application)
2nd CSE: Feb 7, 2019 (To upload documents as instructed by a CIC call centre agent)
MEP: No update yet
IP1: Jan 12, 2019

PNP-Inland (FSW)
AOR Jan 6th, 2019
Medicals Passed: Feb 13th, 2019

Updated myimmitracker

I have done some number crunching/analytics. These figures apply to PPRs for US Residents (usually not US Citizens). Most are Indian citizens. I pulled data from MyImmiTracker for FSW-Outland PPRs for US Residents since Jan 14, 2019.

The scatter chart has the most recent PPRs to the left. The oldest are to the right.

I'm now hoping for PPR in 43 days on March 28, 2019.

Ok, I think some people just need to chill from their research on PPR days and trends on Immitracker and just wait out their processing time. All these IP1 and IP2 talks shouldn't really be taken seriously and is causing some confusion based on the questions I have seen so far. This is why I don't have it on my signature. A colleague just got PPR yesterday. Dec 2 AOR. Background was still in "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check".

It’s very much confusing who nd from where they had applied for pr. I think there should be forum for people who applied from India. Because we guys only compare ourself here only. There are so many people who applied from different countries and different program. Any forum where people got AOR in December nd applied from India.

That's good to know you only just got your biometrics letter. I did my medical early November before I even got my ITA as I was trying to get ahead with the things I needed for my application. MEP was only passed on 31st January.

I did call IRCC yesterday and they said the letter for Biometrics had been generated in my account but not sent yet. They also told me my application is with the CIO in Sydney, Nova Scotia and criminality is being worked on. Security and eligibility not yet started.

That was an old post! My Biometrics request came on January 30th, MEP cleared on the 31st.

 LOL, OK buddy.

The background status you describe is IP2 and that's perfectly normal for PPR. It doesn't change until at least after CoPR. I'm not sure what you were meaning by that statement if it was supposed to be an indictment of the research/observations here.

Is your colleague FSW-Outland like you, or is he CEC? That timeline would be very normal for CEC or even in some cases, PNP-Inland.

Please use all three letters in the word "and", since these forums are in English. You can click the top sub-forum for Express Entry and create your own thread only for Indians at any time, if you so desire!

I am pretty sure IP2 is when it changes to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

True. It is IP1. I misread that part. I can't believe the response anyway to hard data. I guess that scatter plot where it looks mostly like a flat line except for a few outliers means nothing. LOL.

Its fairly consistent, I agree, but we must note that the data you pulled up from immitracker is 5% of the overall cases. I doubt it can be used to extrapolate stuff.

I really appreciate the time and efforts you put in gathering, presenting and sharing that data. It really indicates the trend for all US applicants. Thanks :)
Bdw, a quick question :p Are you using Python or any APIs to get that data from MyImmiTracker?
