Monday blues turned into Monday Rainbows. Got PPR today at 7.30am ET hours. They have asked to submit passport to Ottawa office even though I am based in US. Will be sending them a email to possibly change it to US Visa office address in East coast.

Congratulations xnitkam!!!

I rang IRCC and waited for 35 minutes. However, I spoke with a very patient and polite call centre agent who told me that he would love to look into my profile and give me an update. He advised that my profile is being actively worked on. There are notes in my profile from the agent, but the eligibility check has not started yet. He did mention that all documents look sufficient and then said "it looks great". The last statement kind of made me feel better but I am not sure if he said that after reading the notes on my profile.

This wait is making me so anxious!!!
Has any of you had a similar conversation with a call centre agent?

Could you please copy/paste your status from the Express Entry portal, now that you have PPR, but not CoPR? I'd like to know what it looks like? I'm looking for the lines with eligibility, biometrics, background check, etc.

Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Will update this forum in case i see anything changing in my profile. Keep looking out for email titled "Ready for Visa" from cic.gc.ca

Totally agree with you. Can't see why it isn't delivered by a message in the application portal. Or why not both?
