The status bar shows up after you get another email after this one which has words to the effect of:
Your application now has a progress bar. The progress bar shows the time elapsed since we received your application. It gives you an estimated completion date based on our latest processing times.

When you finally submit your application. The portal will send you a message indicating Acknowledgment of Receipt.(AOR). This is the date when 6 months processing starts.

Thanks a lot . I have sumitted all my application and did my biometric on 3rd dec 2018 and recieved a message that my application is has been processed in our office on 03 Dec 2018. I applied online through agent

is there anyway i can track my application process? i hired a representative for my process but they do not give account details to anyone. not even me.
but im really curious to track my application.
can i do that without asking my CIC account details to my consultant?
