I might be overthinking but i’m a bit concerned with NOC rejections I’ve read recently. I’ve read most folks add NOC within the work-ex letter, did you guys do that too? I only had the required information in my letter and no NOC information apart from what was included while filling out the application. Thoughts?!
I am also concerned about it, in my Reference Letter, NOC Number was not mentioned. Though, i believe this will not be an issue as long as the related work experience are similar to the one covered by the NOC. Nevertheless, until we receive the PPR, nothing is certain. Hoping for the best, for all of us who are waiting with high hopes and dreams.
I really don’t think NOC code is required on the employment letter especially for Outland candidates. It’s unlikely for my HR or supervisor to know NOC descriptions. Just my thoughts.

I don't think you need to put the NOC number on your reference letter.
Some people submit additional or revised reference letter because their job descriptions do not seem to match what they claimed on the application form. My guess is some jobs are a little complicated and VO might have difficulty understanding what the applicant does for a living.
Jobs that are straight forward such as teachers, doctors, chefs etc. are less likely to cause confusion.
This is very true.i second this.certain job duties aren't as straightforward and not so universal hence the reason some VOs might be confused.moreso some certain jobs aren't so common

Thanks and trust me, I was surprised too with my findings. Only that it costs me several thousands of dollars already to find out and Vancouver life doesn't quite allow me that kind of luxury.

The amount of useful info I found from reading the internet and talking to people who applied have been far surpassed the value I received from professionals. Not saying that they were not good, but the law practitioners are great for interpreting the law but not necessarily at administrative and procedures. This kind of knowledge comes from first-hand experience, which is why this forum is so great.

Much appreciated.
The forum is a self help group and just because someone got though with their application does not mean they are an expect. If someone' document was overlooked, that does not mean that such documents are the norm and law.

I would any day rely on a person who is in the Courts day in and day out, arguing and fleshing out immigration law than someone who submitted his/her application and got through.

This forum is very supportive, helpful, but the advise you get here needs to come with a pinch of salt.

Hey..after seeing a few rejections due to unmatched noc and jds or not enough jds listed..i am wondering how many job descriptions are ideal to list in the letter? And to what extend should they meet the noc selected. I am super worried about mine now.
Please help
@legalfalcon @USProgrammer
It is not the number, your job duties listed in the work reference should substantially (75% or more) match the jib duties of the NOC selected.

Nope, no update. Waiting for RPRF request. I have called IRCC few days back, they said Eligibility and Security in progress. I do not expect to get any good news within the timeline, they will put me in the freindzone :)

Best wishes for us :)
I hope we are not put in the friendzone! :(
