I believe what frustrates me most is the lack of transparency. I mean, I know they have a few reasons not to say in detail what they are doing, but calling after the 6-month mark to hear 'well you have to be patient' and having no idea if I'll get my ppr or at least a single update in a week or in 6 months is frustrating.

May i know where is your landing interview scheduled at?
My case is exactly same as yours,residing in ottawa,application processed and approved (April 10th) at Vancouver.

Don't despair. I see you've already ordered your CBSA notes - that should shed more light on the different security "activities" and the dates they were performed...though I believe the nature of the activity is redacted anyway.

Amazing analysis!

The thing that makes me nervous is the fact that I filled my travel history incorrectly. For the Schengen area, I only entered countries of destination (a country I asked for a visa), not all the countries visited during the trip. For instance, I flew to Italy, then moved to Belgium, then stay in Netherlands for several days, then moved to Latvia and finally went back home - and I wrote it like a single trip to Netherlands with dates written on Italian and Latvian stamps as I used a visa provided by Netherlands. I had several trips around Europe like this.

My security has been ongoing for two months, and they haven't asked for additional information about visited countries yet. I wonder if they are satisfied with the provided history or decided to perform in-depth checks

The application is still in the same state where it says ‘submitted’ and that ‘we are processing your application’. The landing interview email came around 1PM today.

So the landing interview email does not state the date when it got approved. In my case I called up CIC agent few days back and he told me that decision has been made i.e. all stages are cleared and file got approved on Apr 30 which is the same date when the status changed from IP1 to IP2.
Did you check with CIC agent over call?
