Today I see an update in Background check section saying they started processing. But Review of eligibility didn't change.

Review of eligibility - We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results - You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents - Not applicable.
Interview - You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics - We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

What does it mean? Am I in IP2 now?

The notes are generated same day / next day the application is filed with IRCC. So your notes are likely generated 22/23 Jan. You should be able to see the date on notes. Date generated is in footer of every page.

Seems like at-least till 22 Jan your eligibility was not done yet. I remember you posting that your eligibility is recommended pass / met based on call with IRCC agent. It may have happened later.
You are correct. I didn't notice this. Generated Jan 22.

This is good. From this analysis did you get to know your VO
My VO as of Jan 22 is CIO-Sydney, NS. It has this as my primary VO with a bunch of Secondary ones like CPCs and Vegreville. I have confirmed with them on the phone since then that it's still at CIO.

How did you order notes? getgcms? You're outside canada, so how did you get the consent form?

Just order from GetGCMS. The site will send you a pre-filled consent form. You sign/scan/email it back and then they place the order with IRCC.

Hi,

Did u submit the schedule A. I also got the ADR on 11th Jan, submitted on 15th Jan, got biometrics request on 17 Jan, submitted on 23 Jan. Current status ip2
Yes, I did. I received my MEP and Biometrics Instruction Letter the next day after I submitted the Schedule A.

Got off the phone with IRCC just now.
I had an interesting conversation. It was a test shot, lol since I'm just a 24 Dec AOR, so I am not expecting a PPR for the next 2 months.
She said eligibility is done first, and my account shows "We are reviewing whether you meet requirements".
She said it will happen sequentially, first eligibility, then security and criminality.
Confusing :\

Yay! So the exact opposite of what they told me.

Don't know what to believe now. I read somewhere that they have updated their process. They electronically split an application and work on everything simultaneously in different places. This is part of a new workflow process they follow. IP1 and IP2, though useful before is irrelevant now... Totally irrelevant.

Well MEP and IP1 matched up directly to steps in my GCMS, so I'd say that's not true.

I'd be willing to bet IP2 equaled criminality being complete and security starting in my application. I'll find out when I get my next set to GCMS notes. I don't know if it equals anything on eligibility now that we have conflicting information and only guesses around "met" vs "passed". I'm not sure if "met" on eligiblity means just the R10 FSW "met" or something more substantial.

I would say it's premature to say they're irrelevant.

I agree to some extent. I will order my notes exactly when I reach IP2. That way, if criminality shows complete by then and security starts, it will prove what you said.

Just FYI, you don't have to order exactly on that date, because each change has a date associated with it in the GCMS documents. There aren't any un-dated changes or free-text notes.
