Deep (smoke filled) breath . . .

Interview: September 19, 2018 (no test for me since I waited until I turned 55, but the wife has to take it that day).

updated, congrats

Decision was made on 8th May, as I did my test and interview on the 7th May, called IRCC and was informed my file is in a queue to be scheduled for an oath ceremony.

It’s over just 3 months since decision made. I hope mass oath invitations are coming soon for December applicants.

completed my test today .. Got perfect score and standard reply to wait for 2-3 months for Oath :) now wait for Final step started :)

Can you share your interview experience? What did they ask?

For my interview, it was literally like 2-3 minutes long.

I was called in. Then she said I passed my test. Then was asked if I had any problem with law enforcement officers, which I said no. Then she went on to check all my stamps one by one (one which was related to eligibility period) with what I included in physical presence calculator. Then she said looks like you are good. Should receive oath invite in 4-8 weeks but also keep checking your email. 4 days after I got Oath Invite.

That makes me nervous since the travel records I included in the application may not perfectly mirror the stamps on my passport. There are too many stamps on my passport and I did not check one after another when entering them into the application form....... Dont know what to do now at the interview. Can anyone help with this?

If anyone has any insights please provide.....

I had test and interview few weeks back, at that time the officer mentioned she might send for more documents if she is not able reconcile my entry/exit dates with ICES. I have been collecting documents for while and still trying to get all sorts of documents for any potential RQ. Today I noticed Decision Made in ECAS.

Does that mean I can stop worrying about RQ and stop collecting documents for potential RQ.

For me interview was pretty simple and short. Asked am I working now ? It may be because when I applied I was unemployed. Then he checked my Mexico visit stamp and gave me the reply that we have no concerns with your file and you will receive invitation for oath in 2-3 months :)

Seems the interview varies with interviewers.... hope I will be interviewed by a nice one.

Kindly prepare an Entry/Exit form (with all stamps page numbered) as I explained in this thread of mine: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...y-citizenship-interview-process-today.579646/

Take it for the interview and explain the IO that you gave a relook to the Physical Presence Calculator and this is the true/detailed picture. S/he will verify and accept it on the interview form (which you will sign during your interview). You're likely to be good there on.

All the best!
