I had my test + interview June 20 and passed both, and I have DM as of June 28, but it's now Aug 12 and no invitation for oath yet... is this normal??? Should I start panicking? I was told I'd receive invite by email, but I also re-gave them my new address (which is in another province than the original application), I am just hoping I do not miss the letter or email somehow, I saw one thread here that someone got neither by email nor by snail mail.... :/

Location : montreal.

Anyone from Montreal who did the test/interview around that time?

Does ECAS get updated after the DM , for the oath ceremony??? Just in case I receive neither email nor snail mail invitation for oath...

its normal, just keep waiting for oath notice

IP since March 2nd and applied from Sauga
IP since feb 13th. Applied from Mississauga. Looks like very slow or more volume

Calling CIC and the wait time (for what I assume is a local Quebec-based office) is 32 minutes................ :(
I guess it's gonna take a few more months for me to receive the oath invite.... :(

So I just spoke to someone from IRCC... she said that technically, they have until Dec.11 to finalize my application (really? they're gonna leave it to that last straw? the date they received my application?).. and to give it another 3 months for the oath invitation, as of today.... my DM was June 28, so it's already been 2 months, and the interviewer had told me 2-4 months... now the goalposts seem to have shifted and it's now 5-7 months of wait time? Just to get an invite??!?!? And those 2 months, what happened, they went into a black hole???? Montreal applicant.

Hi,

I have nit received interview date yet but going to get my passport stamps translated. If i will have the translated by the end of this week, will the translation be still valid till the test date (which I do not know when it is!!) ??

That is the generic answer. My wife got something similar. At the interview, she was told that she should hear back regarding her oath by Dec 4 (which is exactly one year from her application date). This is common procedure for most organizations to not promise anything sooner than the last possible date (IRCC has a goal to finish applications under one year). All we can do is wait.
