Does Anyone know how much time it takes to receive the test date once you have submitted the fingerprint request back to the office.
Scarborough Office
I don’t know, but I read somewhere someone wrote 1 million light years.

Could someone tell me the number to call to ask about the status of my application? Particularly, why no test invite after 4 months since IP.

4 months is not that uncommon, especially the GTA. It took over 5 months for my wife to get her invite. Things are just slow.

Application received dec 7th 2017
Aor received on the feb 8th 2018
Processing started in March 7th 2018
Location : Mississauga , Ontario
Test invite : 15 August 2018

Hi There,

I wanted to get some feedback from others that might be in the same boat as me. I applied for my citizenship in December of 2017 - I live in Ajax, Ontario. Timeline as follows:

December 22, 2017 - application sent
December 28, 2017 - application received by office
February 20, 2018 - AOR
March 20, 2018 - "We started processing your application"
April 10, 2018 - "We sent you correspondence on April 10, 2018. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required"
April 13, 2018 - Received Correspondence.. Correspondence was to get fingerprinted for RCMP clearances
April 17, 2018 - Completed the fingerprinting through Commissionaires in Toronto and they said they send it directly to immigration office

To date i have had no other correspondences or anything... Anyone in the same boat as me? Or can anyone give me some advice on what i can expect?

Also can you please update the tracker with my info?

Thanks!
Shuggzz

I have almost the same timeline and status. No news at all. I called processing office, they confirmed that fingerprints have been received and the file is complete and..... to wait for next step, and that was 30 days ago.

When did you get your fp request? and when did you send it?

Pretty much in the same boat in Vancouver. Sitting at 128 days since IP (with my Finger Prints received on April 4th).

We just hit the queue at the wrong time. One coworker was in a month before me and she was sworn-in in May . . . Another was 2 weeks before me and he just got his test invite a couple of weeks ago.

Pretty sure the temporary staff they hired to handle the wave in Oct/Nov had been released by the time our applications landed in Dec. Then summer vacations (lord knows they needed one after that onslaught) kicked in.

Finally resigned myself to, it will happen when it happens.

Of course what did I just check — processing times for later applications. Yep some applicants who applied 3 months after myself have already got tested . . . The consistency is inconsistentency it seems :/

Did the Finger Prints today .... so now the wait begins for the Test invite (Scarborough office).
I was told that post Oct 2017 Fingerprints became a mandatory requirement, but reading posts on this form it doesn't seem to be the case.

Anyone with the experience on how long before I could expect a test invite.

Test done today...passed 20/20 easy. Please update the xls

Applied Dec 11, and changed to In Process on Feb 24. No updates after that. Should I be worried? Online says In Process. Where do I check the ECAS notes or something. Heard that calling them is waste of time. Please let me know.
