Hey VFX_man
What was the reason for fingerprinting may I ask? Does anyone get FPed?
Thanks!

Not sure of the specific reason for some getting the request and not others. My wife has not been asked for them and co-worker of mine was not asked - however, a different co-worker was asked for fingerprints.

We could not find a pattern, other than the two that were not asked for FP were female.

Does the test invite come by regular mail or email/ in e-cas? I feel the BC applications processed slower. My sons application is in IP since mid-Feb( app reached in Nov end) and haven't yet got any invite . Whereas I see people from Toronto side who submitted in Jan already got invite and next steps.

Well Ottawa was going ok until IP... since then (12 Feb) mine has not seen progress at all.... 2.5 months that's a long time to process for test invite....

Hi, I'm working on fulfilling the requests on my end for the employment section. In this section, a few options are available including: T4 slips, Confirmation of employment, ROE, and other non-relevant stuff related to my case. My question is: Do I need to obtain both the COE and ROE or just ROE would be enough to provide proof of my stay? Thank you.

I also had the QA request. If I remember correctly, you have to provide documents that pertain to you from the list such as T4 slips, Confirmation of employment, ROE, education transcript if you to studied etc during your qualifying period only. Hope this helps.

Some update on fingerprinting and out of country travel. Just was on hold for about 35 minutes to reach an agent, so you can get
through @ 1-888-242-2100 [after the initial intro in ENG/FRN] press option: 4 [citizenship], 0 [operator]. Either you will get a message that there is a high number of requests and cannot transfer -OR- you get transferred.

Anyway, my prints were requested March 21st and after receiving them back from Vancouver PD, I mailed them on April 5th. The agent was able to confirm they were logged on April 16th at the Vancouver office.

While on the phone, I mentioned that we had out-of-country travel coming up. She said she could note that in their system as to avoid a potential conflict/reschedule issues. So if you are in the same boat, that is an option.
