December 2017 - Citizenship Applicants

Guys has any one experienced this?

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 15, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 2, 2018.
3. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on March 6, 2018.
4. We started processing your application on February 28, 2018

I have the same situation. They told me not to worry. Second AOR is a mistake.
Also they told that our application can be processed although not yet in our local office.

Turns out it was, in fact, a request for fingerprints. I got them done today and they sent them directly. Now I wait once again!

Hey just wondering.. when did you receive the correspondence? Mine was mailed out on the 27th but I haven’t received it yet.

I think I got the correspondence on Friday of last week, but it could have been earlier. I was out of town Wed-Fri, so I only was able to check when I got home.

I just received a QA by mail fingerprints and request for additional documents. Literally sent the day they started processing my application. I am so lucky. I have never been this frustrated in my life. Anyone with experience regarding that?

What additional documents?

Literally everything, all passport pages, all employment and residential info, entry/exit report, ohip reports, basically everything.

What triggered the QA? Did you have a lot of travel or declared self employed etc?

Invitation to the test/interview, followed by a decision, (and if that's positive) followed by an invitation to the citizenship ceremony.
At any point up to "decision made" they may ask for additional information.
