Hey everyone, I just got my AOR a couple of minutes ago, such a relief!

Timeline:

Application Sent : December 01, 2017
Application Received : December 06, 2017
AOR : February 02, 2018

Kindly update the spreadsheet please

I lived in Dubai for more than 180 days as resident, I attached previous police certificates and mentioned on covering letter that i will get a latest police certificate if required.. i expect they will keep processing the application rather sending that back. Is my understanding right?

I think its highly likely that you will getv AOR and then probably be asked for a recent copy

Does anybody knows if the email AOR is sent on weekends as well? Somebody told me that they send it on weekend also? Similarly, do they send the emails after 5 pm?

yes you can get on saturdays

My Application was delivered Dec 14,2017 but I haven't received AOR should I start to worry because many of applicants got the AOR for that date of delivery? I don't live at that address anymore so I am bit worried.

Somehow, not able to update the sheet. I guess admin would be doing it:

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 6, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 1, 2018.

Got our applications returned today.
"Application deemed incomplete as photographs are not stamped and dated"

Sorry to hear that. How long did they take before returning their application, from the day they received to to the date of return.

Don't worry, they will treat our applications fast once they start processing.. I got mine returened twice. initially its was wrong application form for my kid (strange is when i got it back for the first time it says mine and my wife application is complete its just kid application form) I re-sent it with new form.. then I got it back again saying language requirements are not fulfilled on my wife application.. (because of IELTS was acadamic instead of general).

Initial application delived on 19th Oct
Second time delivered on 15 Nov.
Third time delivered on 22 Dec...

So technically I am December applicant now

Based on what you are mentioning, It looks like they review the application on whether its complete or not, right after receiving them ( I mean within two weeks), and if its complete, it stays in the queue for officers to review and send AOR and other communication, and if its deemed incomplete, they return right away. Thus, if you do not receive your application back within two to three weeks, then that means application is likely complete and is in queue for processing..

Quick question:

If someone applies with his son (under 18), will he recive two AOR or only one?

A member of my family applied in December with her son (5 y.o). Her ECAS status shows "application received...". But we can't access to her son's ECAS.
