Gotcha, just curious . . . since my understanding is the RCMP runs a background check on all PAL holders everyday. At least if you are approved for restricted. The fingerprint request in reality is a fingerprint-based criminal records check. The purpose is to use a unique identifier when a search for a criminal record is done. Often this is because someone with a similar name/date of birth has a criminal record, and they want to make sure it's not you, so they ask for this check to be done.
The RCMP likely used your fingerprints to do that same check when you requested your PAL. I don't know if they keep your fingerprints on file, but using those defeats the purpose of the current request: the prints on file would be retrieved based on your name and date of birth... which is where the potential naming overlap exists.

Can someone answer my question pls! Is is usual to get a reminder call to attend/confirm test invite?
Thanks!
I do not know if this is usual or common. It has been four years, but I did receive such a telephone call from CIC (now IRCC of course) just a few days prior to my scheduled interview. In less than a week I took the oath (notice of my oath date was sent with notice to attend interview and test, even though I actually was exempt from the test, being an old man, the oath tentatively scheduled for the day after the day following the interview). Is is usual to get a reminder call to attend/confirm test invite?
Oh, haha. I guess my formatting was a bit off, so it could be interpreted as both.My bad. I thought you meant you applied for yourself and a minor. Didn't realize you're the minor. Fixed. Please allow 15-30 min for the update to reflect on the sheet.

There are two options, send the result to IRCC or send the results to you(applicat) for the RCMP folks.I did my fingerprint at rcmp and they give me one copy of all information of me with fingerprint on it but they didn’t include any of my references number from immigration fingerprint request letter. They just took name and DOB and fingerprints. And told me that i have send that copy to citizenship office. They told me that they will send report directly after 4-5 weeks to ottawa. I m so confused. Can somebody direct me what should i do?

I wondered then, and wonder still, if the reminder call was more about verifying the telephone number I had provided, or at least somewhat about checking the telephone number.
In any event, yes, IRCC sometimes does telephone the applicant before the scheduled event.
