Oh. So were they able to fix it upon landing in canada? Bec all i know is if there is an error for name or birth date on copr, then the person needs to file an application for amendment. Im not sure if one has to do it before landing or after landing.
So they mentioned that immi. officer at port of entry can make the corrections? Sorry if i ask too much. Im just stressed out for this issue i have right now. Lol

I am sorry i never heard from ever since i seen the post. Is there a way to contact CIC or VO and ask?

That makes sense.

MyCIC has changed application to "Approved" this morning :) Expecting the Xpress mailer to be activated sometime today.

Congrats! My PPR stuff was delivered April 13, so I was hoping to get it back this week, but if it took a week to get to you within Canada, I expect I'll get it next week, since I'm in the states. So where are you planning to do the landing process?

Singapore here and no news yet...

We sent our PPR docs and passport photos in 2 weeks ago. We got an email last Thursday stating the passport photo's where the wrong dimensions and we need to send in new ones. :(

We got new ones yesterday and will be sending them in tomorrow. So frustrating since we showed the photographer the size specifications the first time. I had read about so any people having to redo their photos so I shouldn't really be surprised that we had to do ours again lol

Let's hope all is ok this time!

They had no problem with our photos when I sent them in for my PPR, but a couple days ago a letter came addressed to my 11 year old daughter informing her that her photographs needed to be redone for her PR card. The place that we had them done has a guarantee to redo them free of charge if they weren't accepted, so we'll be redoing them in a few days once we're fairly sure they aren't also going to be asking me for new ones as well.

Ah that sucks but it's good it was only one of you and not all. Hopefully you don't get the others denied. We could've had ours redone for free if we had the previous receipt on us. We had left it at home as here in Aus opening hours are HORRIBLE so we had rushed to the photo shop after work without it. We will try and go back sometime this week and see if they will honour a refund after the fact :)

Are you sending the new photos by themselves in a parcel envelope? They didn't specify to send any forms with them, so we were just going to write the file number and names on a piece of paper and put in the envelope with the photos..

Papers getting delivered today :)

Will be landing at Blaine-WA Peace Arch crossing. Should be straightforward, but going to take the opportunity to buy as much stuff across the border to declare as goods to cross. Hopefully yours has been sent back by now?

Hello everyone.

Can a PR who just landed without the PR card yet allow to travel (via plane) within canada?
Do airline crews ask for pr card or pr travel document when boarding? Do we have to go thru immigration for local flights? Just to get some answers before making travel arrangements. TIA.

Hi. Thanks for the response. Does it apply to PR who stayed for a few days in a city and fly to a different province?
