PPR received tonight :D :D :D :D :D

Docs going in the mail first thing tomorrow :)

Congratulations!!!!
Question: Do you pay the Right of Permanent Resident Fee in advance? Do they also request you two specific photos ID type?..
How Long did it take since you did it?
Thank you

Thanks :)

Yes I paid the ROPR fee in advance at the same time I paid for the sponsorship application. I've read in other threads that it's the last step before DM though so if you're being asked that, it's probably a good sign!

PPR requests for two of the exact same photos that they request for in the application - the passport / PR sized photos. They link to the exact same photo guide document used. We took the photos ahead of time in preparation for PPR, so should be ready to mail out! Entire process will have took 4 months by the end of it, which is quick and which we're immensely grateful for.

Any 2016 applicant got visa issued from LVO till now?

Hello! I just got my PPR today and they instructed me to send my passport to Ottawa VO. Howevrr, I am now living in the Philippines. I have emailed them back earlier and notied VO Ottawa about my situation. Is it ok if I just send my passport to my husband in canada and he will just forward it to Ottawa VO?

Yep! shouldn't be too long from now :)

Guys... For those who already received their COnfirmation of permanent residence and landed in canada, does it show the place of birth in your COPR? My husband's copr place of birth is empty/blank but it showed the country of birth tho. Would that affect his entry to canada? I appreciate it if someone can provide me an insight. Thanks.

I don't remember if it was showing on mine...but there shouldn't be any problems :) even the date of the last entry in Canada is always wrong, but they didn't say anything to me :)

Someone on another thread said any errors can be corrected as you enter Canada

Oh. So were they able to fix it upon landing in canada? Bec all i know is if there is an error for name or birth date on copr, then the person needs to file an application for amendment. Im not sure if one has to do it before landing or after landing.
So they mentioned that immi. officer at port of entry can make the corrections? Sorry if i ask too much. Im just stressed out for this issue i have right now. Lol
