It prompted me to check mine, and MYCIC still says "processing background check" but my ECAS has changed to DECISION MADE!!

Yeah, never got an AOR2. Ottawa applicants don't commonly get it, if at all.

I also never got AOR2. My VO is Manila.

That's what I'm seeing is that Ottawa doesn't do AOR2. Did your ECAS show third line as well?

My BG check status also just changed from 'the next step is to do a BG check' to 'Not Applicable'. Im hoping that basically means the same as BG check passed. Fingers crossed!

Mine too says the same thing!

The final decision though, it says "your application is in progress.."

When I clicked the (?) on the side, it says that the final
decision has been made.

Im confused right now.

Hopefully, its a good sign.

I have applied in December and they did send me correspondance in December.

Mine as sponsor or my husband as applicant? Both are different i think. Its on one of them yes.

I want to give you a quick update of my situation, I received an email from CIC
Requesting the payment for the RIght of Permanent Residence Fee, So Does it mean that my PR visa was approved??? I checked on my ECAS, not DM only AOR 2 ... nothing new in my CIC either.
I will make the payment on line, Any idea of what the next step will be?

I was requested that also last week in april 4th
Nothing has changed since for me either. They signed for receiving the receipt today in Mississauga and i had also faxed it there and emailed it to Mexico

For the PPR it asks you to send 2 photos of the applicant, to the Canadian specs...

My partner got his done a couple of days ago and we are mailing the docs off today. I am just wondering if anyone knows what they use those photos for? The photo is from just below the shoulders and you can see all the logos on his work shirt.

It also looks like the photographer made an error when printing off the photo and the bottom left hand corner is white, as if they cropped the photo badly..

Do you think this will be a problem and we'll be asked to send in new ones?

hi guys. My ECAS has been changedbto decision made since apr 9. How long will it take before they update mycic account and the email requesting for my passport??

Can be anywhere from a day to three weeks in the extreme cases I've seen... waiting for ours too... just want to get this thing done

Update on my application.
Never received an official AOR1, SA or AO2.
Continue to email and phone CIC and they said everything is normal, they have all the required paperwork and everything is in order. No updates on ECAS or MyCIC for 4 months.

I am glad others are receiving good news.

But this system is so flawed and frustrating
